Reverend Larry T. Hall
Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church
In March 2003, I was called to pastor
Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church.  The
"call" was a continuation of a journey
which began when Yvonne and I moved
from Baton Rouge, Louisiana in March
1979.  We came to Fort Worth to attend
Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary.  By January 1980, the
congregation brought me on staff as the
assistant to Pastor Raymond V. Jones.
Through the years, God has united our
hearts as only He can.

Mayfield Missionary Baptist has had a great history since its
origins in 1911.  This fellowship has produced some
outstanding leaders in the local community.  The history of
Stop-six would be incomplete without the recognition of the
contributions of Mayfield.

I am confident that Mayfield has a great future. Our intent is
to build a multi-generational church which is faithful to the
Word of God. "It does not yet appear what we shall be".  I
envision this membership growing physically and spiritually
into that mature body given to fulfilling the Lord's Great
Commission.  I believe that together we can make
tremendous accomplishments for the glory of God in Jesus
Christ.
